Practicing journalism is the best excuse I've found to engage with other people, exercise critical thinking and work towards the audacious goal of promoting understanding. I've been an editor and educator, but spent the bulk of my professional experience reporting stories firsthand. From developing pitches to distribution, I've covered all sides of story production on nearly every platform.
